I got in to writing poetry several years ago and I have had my poetry published as well. I see poetry as an art form that allows you to express yourself with words. With poetry it has to come from the heart, so some of my poetry is written when I am hurt or down as I can write about what I feel without causing harm to others mentally or emotionally. I have been told I have a talent, so I want to publish and have my talent recognised.
